How Secure is Storing Passwords in IE11

I recently saw the blog post promoting password managing apps and the added security that comes with it. And it got me wondering, is IE11 secure when it comes to managing passwords? Why or why not? I found articles about how easy it was to crack the stored passwords for IE7 and older, but I haven't found anything on IE11.

Follow up question. With the constant streams of news about companies getting hacked and password data possibly being compromised, what makes password managers like Enpass secure?

Nothing is truly secure if anyone is able to really physically access your device. If that's not the case, you won't need to care too much about how IE or PW managers store their information. As long as they're stored locally. I for one wouldn't want to go with any cloud based solution like Lastpass. At least not to store sensitive information.
