Extended storage on wp8,1

Hey there...i got a problem.. I just upgraded to a 32 gigs of class 10 card, and transferred my data to it(which was pretty hectic though) although I put music, pictures and videos files in their named folders and their total size is 993 mb, but strangely the storage sense shows 0 bytes of them but I see "others" (The Evil of WP) listed there with 2.8 gigs...
Any suggestions???
Using Lumia 720 with 8.1!!!

I right click in my windows computer on the album i wish to copy to my Lumia, in the roll down list i choose 'copy to' and select my Lumia.
Then i get a pop-up in which i get the choice to just copy them like files, or like music which then is recognized by the Phone as music.

My guess is that you didn't do it right.

Storage sense shows 0 for music and videos if thats on Memory card

hmm then its an issue. My phone says 22Mb on Card for Other.. May be you didnt copy to Card.. check using PC.

There is no such option in scroll down menu...using Windows 8.1

I didn't think that there would be a difference between 8 and the dp wp8.1.
I came across more trouble with sd cards and wp8.1 so i think waiting for the official release will be the smart thing to do.
