Email notifications are still not fixed very disappointed. No notifications if email arrives in other folders except inbox !!!

I have the 810...the 820's cousin. It may sound weird, but, my battery life got better when I turned everything on. Background tasks, wifi, bluetooth, nfc...all of it.

No, it isn't weird. My phone behaved the same when I first installed 8.1. After a few days, it started behaving very "random". One restart and I once lost 70% of battery life. What the hell. After a few more days my battery life started decreasing and it's been happening ever since.

Noticed that in battery saver, Store application toggle switch for "Allow app to run in the background" option enabled. This was available in the initial 8.1 and in the second update it was disabled. Now it enabled again.

Some of u guys are saying that the update is quite a small one.. 20-30 mb .. But when I updated.. The update was of 605 mb .. But still couldn't find anything new except that the time to switch between open apps is reduced ..

I have noticed a slight decline in battery usage. I removed it from the charger this morning less than an hour ago. Now my battery shows 85% left and I have only done small glances; it mostly sat idle.

I'll give it more time before I say this update killed the last update. I noticed yesterday, too, after the update, that the battery crashed and burned way before I got home yesterday. I did turn on Battery Saver, which allowed me to get some important phone calls before it did actually die.

I also see huge improvements in my battery as its been more than 8 hour's and my battery is still 73% left....and in these 8 hours I had played games, used both cellular data and wifi and even used it for calling. Earlier it used to be about 65% or so after 8 or 9 hours of charge but now its draining at a lower pace. Dts g8

This might be the best battery life on my 820 after 8.1. It still drains very fast but at least it is around 15%/hr at heavy use (it was ~20-25% )

Performance in the podcast app is much approved. Before this update the list would disappear while scrolling and images would become skewed when clicking. So far that's fixed.

Does anyone have a changelog? How hard is it to write a bloody changelog? Tell us why we just updated! Even if it's like last time, "bug fixes". The fact that sometimes there's a changelog and sometimes not makes it confusing.

I have the NL929 and I am running version WP8.1 (8.10.12382.878). I checked for an update and it said my phone was up to date. I saw that some one had already updated there 929 yesterday so what gives?

One thing that I have noticed after this update that the word flow keyboard has begun to recognize even Hindi words during swyping which was not the case earlier. Some examples I saw included typical words like mere, ye , umeed, and even the suggestions are much better now for Hindi.

Check the setting in the "Preview for Developers" app.

Pulling it down now for my 920, I sure hope it fixes the headphone issue (right ear cutting out) and only way to fix is a power off/on.

I have same issue on 920, and its getting old really quick

For those stating there is a big change in battery life, it might be helpful if you were to post which phone you have. Just sayin...
