I've got a bit of a weird problem here. If I try to send out one of WP8's emotes, It will show on my device sent as :smile:, but on the device i'm sending to it will show up as "??", two question marks every time.
It doesn't matter what device i'm sending to, or which carrier they are on, it will always be the same thing, two question marks. At first I thought this was just an incompatibility with iPhone/Android, but today I tried sending to another WP8 device and had the same result.
I'm able to receive emotes no problem, they will show up exactly as they were sent. But if I try to even copy paste that text back to the sender, they will only receive "??"
Has anybody else had this problem? I'm using a Lumia 1020 running WP8.1 through Rogers in Canada.
