Switch to Skype call

Has anyone been able to get the "switch to Skype" function to work during a phone call? I have tried it using 2 windows 8.1 devices without success.

Any tips?

That would work only with the new (updated skype app) which MS would be releasing shortly

It actually already works for some. I've done a transfer several times with my wife.

After installing latest update for Windows Phone 8.1, reset your phone and make a clean install.

After that, Skype from normal call should work. It worked in my case.

Lumia 820 owner.

I found it didn't work but then once I fooled around with it I discovered that I had to make sure I linked an account with their email attached to Skype. Once I did that it's worked no problem.
