Why is it difficult/taking so long for Devs to make all tiles TRANSPARENT!

I just realized that after a decent amount of time on Windows Phone 8.1 that some of the tiles aren't transparent. Xbox Video was just made transparent in an update earlier! This is ridiculous (especially for a Microsoft App) but, you want me to use the LIVE TILES instead of Static Ones made by Transparency Tiles? I absolutely can not. I can't see a Tile counter unless I want a cluttered screen with colored tiles. You can't have the best of both worlds like this. There should be an option and each tile should be able to manually set without standalone app updates. It should automatically detect the tiles BG Color, and should make it transparent per option. This is absurd. I can't use my live tiles, or at least half of them. Microsoft needs to get on this NOW. It's ruining the experience and now I'm stuck on the Action Center. It's my only way to see a notification. They need to change the Xbox Music, and Games IMMEDIATLEY.

Its not worth it to push an update JUST for the tile. They are most likely being pushed with future full updates.

Sure, but they've already pushed out several updates to the Music app anyway, and at least a couple for Games. Making a tile transparent is trivially easy - adding a transparent tile as an option (which is the right way to go, in my opinion) is almost as easy. (And if the teams working on Music and Games don't know how to do it, they can just ask the teams working on Mail, Cortana, or Podcasts to show them...)

You only have 100 free submissions you can do each year. if you do more you have to pay 20$ for each submission. so you dont want to be weastefull with them

I'm guessing the Microsoft development teams don't have to pay those fees :-)

Not all companies branding will allow for a transparent tile. There are lots of things that need to be taken into account.

Sure, but the original complaint (as I understood it, anyway) was about MICROSOFT apps, not all companies'.

Didn't know about this. Where is this documented? Are Beta app submissions counted in those 100 free submissions?

From the Apps I use, most devs don't come near 100 updates a year. Lol. Rudy probably does. XD
