Calendar and US Holidays

Hi,

Someone pls help me get rid of those from my win 8 laptop and lumia phone. I turned it off in hotmail calendar settings. Region is set to my country everywhere and I still see these $&@*&(#* xD.

windows phone only showing US holidays, not showing any other country, not having this feature in win 8.1, maybe we can expect in features update, you can enable google,facebook calender,

I just don't want to see US calendar events on my phone and laptop. I turned it off on live.com and phone and still see Flag Day etc.

I was able to get rid of the US holidays on my phone and surface..

Log in to live.com on desktop browser and go to calendar
Press the settings (cog wheel icon, top right hand side of screen)
Click on the calendar you want to get rid of
Press delete (in the top bar)

Then on your phone go settings > email+accounts > long press on the account and choose sync and the calendar should no longer show up..
