I'm running 8.1. Have done all updates.
Podcasts are clogging my phone. I have deleted all podcasting apps except native app, which I can't delete. I'll give an example of what's going on by using one podcast. It's called TOFOP. On my phone, it says there's just one episode. When I connect my phone to my computer, there are 12 downloaded. This is happening with 12 podcasts and my phone is becoming useless because I have no storage. I have a Mac. Even though Windows Phone app says I can delete these podcasts on on computer when I connect phone, it does not allow me to.
I assume this is a glitch with 8.1. But I've now reached the point where i cannot update apps because storage is full of podcasts I've listened to that have not been deleted - settings currently say to delete automatically. Each podcast should only have one new episode on my phone.
Kind of a disaster. If anyone has had this problem I'd love to know what to do besides a full wipe of all media.
