What happens to apps installed on sdcard when hard reset the WP8.1 phone

Hi friends. I have Lumia 520 and I want to hard reset the phone . I installed many Apps & Games on my transcend 16gb class 10 sdcard. so what happens to my apps & games when I hard rest my phone .

because i did the same... the installed files will still be in the sd but the phone doesn't recognise them... so you will see your sd card full and you will need to format it and reinstall all the apps...

simply put, those apps and games go bye bye.

The phone detects you have\had apps on the sd and simply asks you to delete them. You press "yes" or something like that and... done ;-)

Hey guys, im not facing this issue, but i do have a question... What if i were to remove the sd card before resetting and then insert it again afterwards? would the system still reject the apps?

Yes it would. It is as if the system treats the apps to be installed on some other phone. You'll be asked to either delete the apps or erase the SD card
