About SD cards

So since in wp 8.1 apps can be installed on sd card, what class of sd card do you prefer and how about these UHS sd cards? Can we use them? I have a 525 by the way.

I recommend a class 6-10, although a 4 will work fine too.

I don't see why those SDXC, UHS cards wouldn't work. but they might be overkill.

Actually, I did some informal testing with various rated cards when I first got my phone. Get UHS I cards for Nokia phones. I never did find any documentation, but I believe that Nokia used UHS I rated readers in all their phones. UHS I supersedes CLASS 10 for the SD card specifications.

Yep. I have one in my 810 which is still running Amber firmware. It works better than the Sandisk Class 10 I had.

Anything above Class 6 will serve you well, personally I would recommend a Class 10.

If you do not know what classes mean, it refers to the minimum and maximum write speeds of the card. Anything Class 6 or above should be great for 1080p videos and most everyday tasks, but if you want to take it one step further and be somewhat "future proof" get the Class 10.
