I really want to see Nexus 5 comparison with L930 & L1520.(same processor)
It would be very interesting test.
Anyone have Nexus 5? Please post the result here with screen shot

I could do it, but the OP said specifically WP 8 & 8.1. I think this is meant to be a comparison between WP devices.

I actually did it back in January and posted the results in this thread.

ATT 1520...

Overall 555...

Why is your memory so low?

Do it again.

Something went wrong... You should be north of 1,000 with that Lumia 1520 (the site ranks it at #7 overall, cross platform).

Make sure to close all apps. If you want to really start from a clean slate, reboot.

You can check rankings and make comparisons here: Power Board - Basemark OS TOP 5

OK, reran the test, BUT I moved the app from my SD card to my phones internal storage and the results improved... Damn you ATT and halving the internal storage on my phone.

Is this more in line with what a 1520 should be getting?

Yep. Their baseline number for 1520 is 1014. That's a good point about not having the Basemark App residing on SD card.

With the 32GB internal storage on my 1520.3, I don't have Apps on my SD card, Maps either for that matter. Just media and photos I snap. I feel that gives me a good trade by allowing Apps and Maps faster read/write from internal.

Interesting, so it tests the Micro SD card's memory. So, we could also see how each SD card scores and go from there to see which one to get.

Interesting find, and yes, those scores look a lot better. ;)

Yeah, I've been noticing that running apps off the SD has performance drops.... Two of my apps have about half a second to a second pause when adding a new entry to the database on the SD card, but no noticeable pause when running off the phone's internal storage... So, with regard to the benchmark app, my guess is that the read/write tests are done in the app's isolated storage, so depending on where it is installed, that's what it tests.

Oh, and for what it's worth, my SD card is the Sansdisk 128GB.

Test conditions low light bright light

Please note that column 1 is the first test direct after install and column 2 is after a restart of the phone. :(

P.S while running the test the app background white screen had a black line scrolling up. It looked like recording a screen on video. Not sure if it was the design or it was just me. It happened only on the first screen.
