Skype constantly giving "Call failed", plus can't call anyone from skype.

Is anyone having this problem?

I have skype installed on my Nokia Lumia 1020 and recently I am unable to call anyone, as it says that failed or something like that, and whenever I try to answer a call, it gives "call failed" to me.

Does anyone know what is happening?

Ive been having similar problems. My wife currently is sitting 5' away from me and Skype will not connect at all.

I have problems with Lumia 920 and 820. Skype do not work on either of the terminals. It starts up, but you can?t do anything in the app. :angry:

Is there a fix to this? I can call landline numbers fine on Skype desktop app, but all my landline calls on Windows Phone skype fails

I have the same problem - it seems like it does not even dial the number - i've had it work randomly after killing the app and restarting, or pausing bluetooth audio

what's broken ?

I had this issue for a while. Deleting and reinstalling the skype app and then soft resetting the phone seemed to work for me. I don't know how or why or if it will work for anyone else though.
