Calender doesn't sync past events

Is there an option which enables that my Lumia will sync my past event a.k.a. will not delete them after a specific amount of time?

P.S.
If there is no such option, please make on - it would be really usefull and helpfull in the present as well as in the future!!

It isn't an issue with your phone, the Outlook calendar drops past events after a period of time. I don't know how other calendars handle this, does a Google calendar keep previous events or does it purge afterwards? To me, I only use it for scheduling future events, not journaling past events, so it works for me, but maybe there is a feature in Outlook calendar to not delete old events?

I don't know how google calender works, 'cause I never used it before.
I looked the options of outlook through but I didn't find any feature which would enable the sync of past event or a feature which would disable that my past events are deleted
