Battery Death

Since updating to Windows 8.1 official with Denim. My battery is draining at 21% per hour. Nothing helps. Reducing frequency of mail checks, (it seems to check anyways all the time) Stopping all background processes, Disabling cortana, Switching batteries. Discharging all the way, disabling battery saver. I have no idea what is going on. I want to roll back. But that is not possible. How do I make it live again!

Have you tried a Hard Reset or Factory Reset?

Check what Cortana it's doing in the background in battery saver. Mine has been killing my battery last week or so.

Battery Saver is your friend! Select to show previous 24hrs battery usage, you should be able to work out what app is draining your battery.

Though a soft reset always helps every now and then.

Battery Saver is not my friend, It reports 100% on phone. Not much help, A few other items come in at 2, 3 %. I did a factory reset. And it seems to have helped. Shouldn't have needed it, but oh well.
