I have an Icon and have been getting the 86000108 error code trying to sync my outlook account for the past few weeks. No matter what I do it will not go away. I thought the denim update may fix it, but no. I have tried multiple hard resets with not restoring from backups (before and after denim update), deleting the people accounts with LinkedIn, twitter, facebook on both phone and outlook pc accounts. I have tried changing the server from blu406-m.hotmail.com to both m.hotmail.com and hub.hotmail.com based on some other posts, but that hasn't worked either. I love my windows phone, but this is absolutely driving me crazy. I have found posts relating to the problem on Windows 7 phone, but not Windows 8. Hopefully someone can help.
