Windows Phone 7.8 still made good as basic phone

Having WP8.x devices made me forgot about my old Lumia 800. It's nice devices, responsive and run perfect.

It's has been a while since my mom broke her phone. She now using my Lumia 800 and really happy.

Having iPad as smartphone replacement. She doesn't need much apps other than WhatsApp.phone basic features are all she need.

Its 2015 and my daily phone since June 2012 to this day is a Lumia 710 running WP 7. It does everything I need from a phone although some websites cant support its IE browser. Zune PC software is supported in Windows 7/8/10 so I have no problems managing media with it using a Windows laptop or desktop.

I still break out my old Samsung Focus from time to time.

I miss my 800 terribly at times. WP 7.5 Tango was its peak and ran 5X better than on 7.8 - which I thought was pretty terrible.

Four years ago on my way to replace my lost blackberry I saw this beautiful tiled phone. Today my old Sam Focus is still my phone. Still decent, it never failed me. Waiting now for the L940. Time to move on.
