WP 8.1 centurylink email account.

Over the past two months off and on I am getting an error message: Your centurylink email needs attention with the following error code 80004005. It says the centurylink email is not accessible and cannot down load my mail. The system tells me to check my settings, password, and try again. I can't find a description of what may be causing this problem and trying the email again as well as a system reboot does nothing.

The issue is intermittent with it working some times and then it starts this again. My phone is a 1520.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

This looks more like a email server problem.
Did you contact centurylink already or checked the website for trouble shooting.
