Stuck on logon screen on windows 7 **SOLVED**

I got stuck on the logon screen on my windows 7 laptop tried many things like yanking out the battery and no luck so I did these steps:
Started windows in safe mode with networking,
Booted up logged on,
Went to Control Panel,
Repair, System restore,
Restored the system and Voil? it was back up and running.

Oh gosh Pankaj I was in an awful state, my mouse and all was not responding and I thought my laptop was done. I'm glad I had my phone just a bit of detective work and got the solution. Just wanted to share on here in case someone had the same issue.

Yeah I know, been there done that. Now safe mode is my savior!

Well like it is called safe mode for a reason lol. I can add that bit of troubleshooting under my belt. I love tech as its constantly evolving and you have so much to learn.

Get into software development and you'll know the frustration of debugging, some like it... most don't lol

That was one of the avenues I thought of when I was 16 I was either going into Software development or web development so I went for the web development side of things with networking thrown in. I am no stranger to debugging though. Windows 2000 built on NT technology was a debuggers nightmare or dream whatever way you wanna look at it lol
