Has anybody experienced issues with restoring a Windows Phone?

A few days ago, I installed the Windows 10 preview on my Nokia Lumia 920 (version: 3051.50009.1451.1001). I tired it out for a few days and decided I wanted to roll back to Windows Phone 8.1. Before doing so, I created a backup which saved onto OneDrive. After successfully rolling back to Windows Phone 8.1 (version: 3051.50009.1424.0000), I need to set up my phone as if I were receiving it for the first time. My only problem is, it is taking a very long time trying to restore my phone and tends to stop at about 21%. Is there anyway that I can fix this? Has anyone else seen something like this?

Did you back up Win 10 or 8.1? If you're trying to restore a Win 10 backup to Win 8.1 it may have issues. . .

right now im having the same #$%#& issue, i rebooted and im trying for the second time, if u can restore please tell me how

well.... i dont know how or why it replaced my $%%& data backup with a new from today ********* i hate wp....
