why wont my window 8 add my tracfone

I have a tracfonelg441g ,for weeks I've been try to get my computer to recognize my fone . I've downloaded all the right driver & softwear ,but still can't add my phone to the computer. All I want to do is import pictures from phone to computer

I'd normally recommend you visit one of our sister sites, but that device doesn't fit in anywhere!

Does the computer or phone react at all when the device is plugged in?
Is there a potential storage option in the phone to enable?
