Is 8.1 Update 2 removed from Preview for Developers

Only revived developer configuration update .. Later was suppose to get 8.1update to via preview for developers on my 1320.. But unable to update as it shows up to date...

The Update 2 OS was part of a base OS upgrade path for "some" devices during the initial phases of the Windows Insider program and NOT the Preview For Developers program. Since then that requirement has changed and Update 2 is no longer a required intermediate step for the 8.1.X to 10 upgrade. So the bottom line is...you cannot get Update 2 using Windows Insider or Preview for Developers anymore.

There are other methods (I have written a post about it) but that involves some "hacking".

I would rather get enrolled in the Slow Ring on Windows Insider to the get the latest 10586.164 build than performing the hack to get to 8.1.14219. The latest builds are quite fast and stable to be used as daily drivers.

Pankaj bhai thankyou for the info.. But wen update 2 was there I downloaded via preview for developers n my device 1320 was more powerful then a super computer.. .. I reverted back from win10 just for 8.1 update 2.. But it seems. To be removed from the server's

Update 2 was never on preview for developers.

Also reverted from 10.586 back to 8.1 on 1520.
. - battery life normal again
. - no surprise shutdowns
. - tasks are back in outlook
. - office docs are editable

What's missing:
. - Miracast presentations;
- Swipe actions in outlook
. - more tile space on 1320/1520

Wouldn't mind adding Update 2 if available.

Was left for dead on wp7, will keep 8.1 on my 1520.
