I have a Nokia Lumia 520 with WP8.1.
If my mobile receives TEXT messages it rings one time, the duration of the sound depending of the length of the ringtone I use. (The alarm does not repeat.) Unfortunately, it just vibrate for a short while at the beginning of the melody and then the vibrations stop. In a noisy environment I do not hear anything and the vibration interval is too short to feel the phone shaking in my pocket. Most of the time, I miss the messages if I am on the street.
Is there a way to set the phone to vibrate as long as it rings or at least to repeat multiple times a short ringtone and vibrate at the beginning of each cycle?
NOTE:
For incoming calls, I understand that there exists a workaround. A short duration ringtone is set for voice calls and as the phone rings and the tone repeats again and again the vibration will also repeat at the beginning of each period. (I have never got a call since I started to use this Nokia Lumia 520 so I do not know if this quick fix really works.)
