Microsoft Ecosystem on Mac
After many many years of using PCs and being deeply vested in the MS ecosystem, OneDrive, OneNote, MS365, outlook.com, I'm planning on making the jump to Apple as far as the hardware is concerned.
I know that MS 365 exists for Mac etc., but how is it to actually use on a day-to-day basis?
Is there anyone out there with good experience of being entrenched in the MS ecosystem, and making a switch to Mac hardware?
Does it work well? What are some pitfalls, and what upsides are there?
Thanks for your feedback.
Re: Microsoft Ecosystem on Mac
It works well for me. Besides 365, etc I also use Chrome on my Mac, and that works well for outlook.com and office.com. You can also download the MS Remote Desktop tool if you do any server admin or connect to any other desktops.
Re: Microsoft Ecosystem on Mac
My company is an Office 365 customer and I'm on a Mac Mini, so I have all the Office programs installed:
Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Teams, One Drive
Overall, it works pretty well. Shared calendars in Outlook is an issue but other than that, no complaints.
