Well Im getting a new computer and Im at a hard decision. I want an affordable multimedia laptop in the 500-700 dollar. A laptop thats fast, has a satisfactory amount of hard drive space, and can handle minor gaming. By minor gaming I mean like minecraft, or at max something like half-life. I was looking at the Lenovo ideapad z500 but it only has Intel HD 4000 graphics so I wasn't positive. If anyone cares can you tell me a good laptop in that range.

You won't get much for $700 USD. Be prepared to spend at least $1000 if you want a laptop that'll last you through at least the next three years' games. I usually get my gaming hardware from xoticpc.com

Almost ANY laptop could run minecraft that's not even a question a 350$ low end HP could run minecraft on low settings here you go this is amazing for the price and the processor and the graphic card can easily handle what you'd like to play http://m.bestbuy.com/m/e/product/det...d=abcat0502000

If Half-Life is the upper end of the types of games you would play, I think that Lenovo and Intel graphics would be sufficient.
