Ok updated my display finally to 1080p, so far so good although I haven't gamed on it yet, there's clearly a noticeable difference.
    Nice!!! The difference is there!

I miss my gaming PC though, lol. I’m traveling around the east coast of the U.S

Lol I believe you. I am going to visit my family in 2 weeks and I will try to survive with Continuum only since Continuum on my 950 works faster than my budget 2 in 1 tablet, lol :P

If alot of games dont have proper DPI scaling, at 4k the UI becomes nearly impossible to read. I'll make the switch when it becomes mainstream.

Just wondering about what the people of Windows Central game at! For me it'll be primarily 1080p on my TV because... that's all it can handle, lol. Occasionally I'll do 1440p on my two monitors, it feels smoother and looks sharp. 4K? Forget about it, lol.

Does anyone game at a different resolution? Feel free to share!

I use 8 1080s in tandem to run at 20K, ultra graphics. My electricity bill each month is massive but it's worth it for those few extra details.

I'd like to switch to a higher resolution soon, but can't find anything in 16/10 and don't want to switch to 16/9

I just game at my native resolution. Which currently is 2560x1440. I think it looks like *** when the monitor isn't at it's native res. If I had a 1080p monitor, I'd be gaming at 1080p and probably wouldn't notice or care if 1440p is better. Heck, I'd be fine with 720p/768p.

I can confirm that GTX 1080 isn't overkill for 1080p gaming.Upgraded gpu 2 months ago from HD7950 3GB to this one.Only thing i changed is settings to ultra, and that's all. Specs are: i7;16GB ddr3;1TB SSD and lovely GTX 1080 G1.Oh and most important thing is Asus 144Hz monitor vg248qe.

I don't play games on my computer very often, but I always go for the highest resolution available: 1920 X 1080 in my case. If I could go 3840 × 2160, I totally would!

After Daniel's review of it I bought a Razer Blade Pro for my "play anywhere" gaming needs... and I usually use 4K. I play Forza Horizon, Killer instinct, and Mass Effect Andromeda more than anything else. This was my first gaming PC so I can't really compare it to others of its type but it makes my 1080 TV/Xbox One combo look ancient.

its quite a complex problem, I have two 8" tablets one 1280x800 the other 1920x1200 and the difference is very noticeable, the old tablet looks pixelated without getting that close to it, but I have no problem with a 720p 110" screen other than little desk space, and somehow it looks fine at 1080p with 150% scaling

1920x1080. I have three monitors at that resolution but only play on one at a time. I want Windows Mixed Reality though, but my GTX 760 is only MR Ready not MR Ultra so hoping I'll get SteamVR support.

1920x1080, but would love to try 4K. Space games like No Man's Sky, Starpoint Gemini Warlords and Elite Dangerous look beautiful already, but in 4K it would be... err... stellar.

Right now, 1920x1080. But I am planning on getting an upgraded GPU so that I can use my 1440 monitor.
