What is the Minecraft Marketplace?

@win10-fan @swizzlerz @NZChap So - I hear the Minecraft Marketplace is coming soon. What's everyone's take on it?? What exactly will we find inside? You excited?

it sounds like a way for microsoft to make more money off minecraft and the users then create the content and sell it to other users. smart actually i didn't see it coming. hope its compatible with more versions in the future. as for me i dont think i will apply im not that smart lol .

The guy above me already said it, it's a way for MS to make money off of mods and ressource packs that already existed for a long time (for free). I think most of the players are going to stay on the java version anyway due to the mods and stuff so it doesn't bother them anyway i guess
