    It looks like there are 2 drives, but 1 is an M.2 drive, meaning it is attached directly to the motherboard.

    Without seeing the PC, I would guess it only has capacity for one 2.5" drive. The one that is in it is a 1 TB drive, and that drive would be replaced by the Samsung. In short, you would be lowering your total drive capacity.
