    Hi All,

I am soon to be in the market looking for a new gaming laptop, although I may hold off on getting one until after Nvidia announce their 3000 series cards.

Looking at the RTX 2070 Super laptops at the moment, I've noticed that the majority, if not all of the laptops don't seem to have G-sync enabled screens. The ones I have been looking at are all 144Hz to 300Hz and all look great on paper.

Is there a reason for the omission of g-sync these days or is it just the manufacturer cutting costs?

Do I still need G-sync these days with higher refresh rates?

Be good to get some advice. Thanks.
