Come to think of it, it's really weird that Minecraft isn't an Xbox title

Microsoft owns it now, and it's very much so a big name.

What limitation could possibly stop it from being an Xbox title?

Minecraft was already getting worked on when it was acquired, to stay on track with the other OS's in terms of features, and those apps aren't Xbox titles either. So I guess have either all three the same, or change one but risk having something go wrong.

However, that may change soon, who knows what the future holds in Microsoft's hands.
