I got an idea for a game in shower. It might be possible to reuse some parts of PoGo.

Players conquer places (wifi hotspots, lan printers etc) by their MAC addresses (only hash is sent to servers). If place is not taken player becomes the "owner" of the place. Other players that use the place (for wifi, printing etc) accumulate points for the "owner". Another player can challenge the "owner" and some sort of duel is taken to see who is the true ruler of the place.
Players can hide mystical creatures (Ninja Cats, T-Rexes, unicorns, Surface Phones) to geolocations by paying some amount of points, and others can search for them (steps and radars are possible). The longer the creature remains unfound, the more the planter gets points back (e.g. from 0.2x to 5x of the payment), the faster the creature is found, the more the finder gets points. This so that creatures would not be planted in unaccessible locations, and not in too easy locations.
It could be possible to team up with other players in some way or to collect reward when two players find each other.

This idea is 100% free to use. If some parts, gameplay, names or brands are protected, I will not be held responsible - it is the responsibility of developer to check legal things.
