What phone would you choose?

I left the WP ecosystem about a year ago and now I wanna get back into it since I'm sick and tired of how slow Android feels sometimes and how the update system works for it. What would you guys choose between a 550 and a 640?

If you're in the US, I would go the 640. Right now still readily available and cheaper than the 550. Specs are very similar between the two phones. You can get one for as little as $30 especially if you are with AT&T or one of it's MVNOs. The 640 will be officially updated to WM10 at some point or you can be an insider or stay on 8.1 for now.

If you are in the US, go to best buy and get a 640 for 30 bucks. It's a cheap way to get introduced to windows phone (again). It will be an ATT go phone, but go online to ATT and request an unlock code. Do not turn the phone on with the att sim in it if you want it unlocked. If you do you will be required to be an ATT customer.
