My brother keeps nagging me to try and sell my photos that I took with my Lumia 1020. Over the course of 2 years I have taken over 10000 photos with about 500 useful for sale. Maybe at most 1500 can be sold.

My question is: do people actually sell photos taken with mobile cameras? If yes, how frequently and can they earn a proper income from it?

    No hurt in trying, right?

I'd go to Shutterstock or Flickr Collections? Posting them on these sites costs nothing, usually. See what's selling and see if you can make a name for yourself, then maybe try to set something professional up.

As a pro photographer I can't see anyone selling Cellphone images. However, you might want to check out www.fineartamerica.com and give it a shot.

I haven't. I doubt one can get away with it easily.

A 920 shot of mine + Photoshop did turn into a nice 15-18-something-dont remember inch print.
