I always loved this phone and this is a great price. I wish I bought it before I paid $650 for my 925.

I don't know why. It has current specs, the biggest screen on WP8, and can take a micro sd card. Its brilliant!

The lack of 4G / 4G LTE really hurts, though.

Which model are you referring to? The Canadian model has LTE connectivity.

That's essentially any type of unlocked ATIV S.

Well I don't know too much about this or AT&T's network. I'm a Verizon guy. But the spec's on that link say:

    Compatible Carrier & Service: AT&T 2G/3G, T-Mobile 2G, Rogers, Fido3G
    AT&T: 3G Only

I think this is the European model. The Canadian/North American Model is SGH-T899M, versus the I8750 shown above. Here's a link to the SGH-T899M, and its networking capabilities are listed below: https://www.tekshop.ca/Samsung-T899-...99-850-gry.htm

    2G Network GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
    3G Network HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100
    4G Network LTE 700 / 1700 / 850 / 1900

My Samsung Ativ S in Canada has LTE

Canadian T899/M only has LTE band 4. Many sites are confused as to which bands it has. I have personally tested one on AT&T and it did NOT connect to LTE band 17 which is what AT&T uses in my area (Minneapolis). Did not connect to LTE in Los Angeles or San Diego, either. So I'm sure it has only LTE band 4. I think AT&T may use that in a few areas but the majority of their LTE network is band 17.
No ATIV S is fully compatible with AT&T 4G. Both work on AT&T 3G and 2G.

    The T899M though is 100% compatible with T-Mobile 2G,3G,and 4G.

Thanks, Peter. I'm trying to get more clarification, but the packaging on my device only tells me "A band LTE AWS networks." I'm not sure how that translates with numerical bands.

Even without LTE, the Ativ S works great in 3G and Hspa+.
