Question about Telus Ativ S

I just bought a used Ativ S that is locked to telus and I am wondering what the current OS is supposed to be on here. I ask because I tried to do an update and it told me one was available but it will not download. I am wondering if I have a defective phone or not. Joys of buying used I guess.

Also my other question is what features are missing from the GDR2 release on this phone? And when is GDR3 expected out?

are you using wifi when trying to download the update? also, may want to post this question on the samsung ativ s forum. you will get lots of help.

I just got that same phone about a week ago. Search wpcentral for gdr3 from your phone. find the article where you can download the developer preview. open the app and register free inside the app. It'll say done. then do a search on your phone for os update. GDR3 will be there.

search for "Preview for Developers". You must have GDR2 installed to be able to upgrade to GDR3

I found it, but I am still disappointed that there is still no FM radio on the phone
