What there will be after the ativ S? will samsung produce a 929 equivalent?(as they did with ativ s, take the s4 and re-use it for wp?)

That's a good question. I'm not sure what Samsung's plans will be, but it would be nice to see more WP8 devices from Samsung.

Yea. Apparently Samsung, HTC and others are waiting for WP8.1 to released their phones

Yes! Waiting for next "ativS" or is it better to go back to Android?

That's just it though, they make money from Android so they don't need 100 billion variants of the same windows phone like Nokia.

On the other hand - Samsung makes so many devices, so why wouldn't they continue with WP8(.1)?

I'm sure the ATIV line is profitable.

It's hard to tell. Samsung pumped out a lot of WP7 handsets, and those didn't sell very well. Since WP8 is steadily growing, we might see more from Samsung. I'm guessing we'll see some S4-like variant coming to WP8 in the future, but it might not be for awhile. The ATIV S, a year later, is still a top-tier device.
