Glad to see that more people are getting updates. This also gives me hope for future updates, Nokia's first got 8.1, but Ativ is with 8.1.1 before Nokia. Except ofc 830,730 which only came with it and only 930 was updated to it. Samsung didn't forgot it's WP users, although there aren't many.

I am so tempted to change my CSC!!! I am on ILO (Israel) and don't think I can wait any longer!!

I have an update downloading, not sure what it is but I'm on the WP8.1 DP. UK, CSC - BTU.

Edit: Looks like it will be the updated firmware based on a post further up. Just need Microsoft to release the Microsoft Band in the UK and I'll be happy

Just got the updated firmware, UK ATIV S running the latest version of the DP. After the firmware installed I also got a notification about two Microsoft updates; the latest 2 DP builds which I already had installed. Went ahead with it anyway and nothing seems to have changed about that. CSC BTU.

Well, my waiting to see if NEE will get the 8.1 update is finally over. I am happy to announce that I got the WP8.1.1 upgrade.
So, as I promised that i will make picture story how all went, with no further due lets begin.

First of all small details:
Before first update (mention in above post):
OS Version: 8.0.10517.150
Firmware Revision Number: 2424.13.11.2
Bootloader: 13.08.14.16
After first update:
OS Version: 8.0.10532.166
Firmware Revision Number: 2424.13.11.2
Bootloader: 13.08.14.16
After second update (WP8.1)
OS Version: 8.10.14157.200
Firmware Revision Number: 2424.14.9.4
Bootloader: 14.09.3.16

In the next days or weeks, I will post a full report about how it works on my phone along with cons and pros.

1. How did i fix the error 8018830f?
Well, I have tried everything, changing regions, country, language, deleting IE10 history and temporary files, reset, etc. and I really don't know if this was the solution, but when i change Country: Sweden and Region: Swedish (Sweden), the installation went through and start downloading and installing the updates (the first update GDR3 I mention above) and i keep it that way until all end. I think this makes logic cuz NEE is Swedish/Nordic CSC, but I am not 100% sure if this method got my updates. When update WP8.1 was done and installed and i set everything to my preferences, I change the region as I wanted. Yes, I have Cortana too but as you know it works only if your Location is ON. What was funny is, if you choose language English (United Kingdom), you got UK Cortana, but when I change language to English (United States) I got the US Cortana (which is way cooler). And it works super fast (at least on my phone).
2. Ok, so as i promised i will make picture story how this update went step by step (Screenshots are resized and the explanation is in every picture), Hope you can understand :)

Everyone who made official update to WP 8.1 (not WP8.1 PfD) in future, should state on which CSC he/she manage to get the official Samsung WP8.1 firmware (screenshots are a must ), so we can make a summary wich CSC's are getting it. So far we have legit confirmation for ATO, NEE, PHT, DBT and BTU.
Remember, this suggestion doesn't involve users running WP8.1 PfD

Good Morning everybody! It seems that Samsung is rolling out WP8.1 in Germany as well. There are update confirmations for devices with CSC code DBT on pocketpc.ch and wpvision.de, and I also can confirm to receive an update on my device (no DP, no changed CSC code or any other changes made). Will try to run the update this afternoon or evening after returning from work.

Happy Updating!

So you are on DBT CSC, right? Report back when you update your phone :)

Hmmm ... so I'm on the latest DfP update (8.10.14192.280) and my CSC is NEE, but I cannot find the official update when I try. Will only phones that are NOT on DfP (WP8 GDR3) get the official update at this time?

You can either change the CSC to ATO or BTU (I think) or just wait. Looks like everyone is getting the update, so just be patient ;)

Yeah, I know, but there were already reports that CSC:NEE is getting the update now. Just don't understand why some get it before others apparently, and the reports don't yet say anything about if both non-DfP and DfP users get it.

From what I've seen here non-Dfp receives the update first and Dfp get it after. The waiting time between those versions looks to be from 3 days to 2 weeks. Won't be more then that I think.

Alright, and it also seems fair by Samsung to prioritize their users in that way. As I already have all the features of WP 8.1 in DfP, it is not a total letdown. But I was especially interested in the reported enhanced screen performance of the official update, and that's why I am eager to get the official update ASAP :)
