Forced Update to WP7.8 wont update past 7.10.8773.98

I have the unlocked ATT I677 Focus Flash on Simple Mobile (i also have a net10 sim but can only get either data just working or just mms working not both on net10)
I successfully used the forced update trick with zune twice which updated me to 7.10.8773.98
Now everytime I try the same trick on my Dell Latitude D630 Windows 8 Pro x64 (same laptop that let up get upto 7.10.8773.98) it either tells me I am have the latest version or that it can not connect to the internet... I have been trying for 2 days straight for hours and hours and hours... I just cant get this up give the update.... This is what I have done...

Turn off Wifi
Turn off Cellurar
Plug in phone Zune lauched
goto settings then update
count the seconds until it says i have the latest update
then click on something else
then click on update to count seconds again
then click on something else
then click on update to count the seconds again
then click on something else
then click on update to count seconds again
then click on something else
then click on update to count seconds again
then click on something else
then click on update to count seconds again
then click on something else
then click on update to count seconds again
Then once I am sure that the seconds are the same.. which they never are sometimes they are off by a second or two or three..
Then I disconnect by sliding the wifi switch to the off position
Then I get either you have the latest or cant connect.....
this is silly.....

If you want 7.8 and have a AT&T Branded Focus Flash, It is best to use the 7.8 Tool and install the update that way.

remember to select all languages or else you will run into problems..

The 7.8 tool should not cause any problems has worked fine for most. Just select all the languages each time after every update that it gives you and you should be fine.
