[Q] Can you switch phone calls to speakerphone mic without going into speakerphone mode?

I have a samsung focus S and when I try to call or use voice recognition the main mic does not pick up any sound (probably broken) but when I put the call on speaker phone, people can hear me talk. Is there a way to fix/switch the main mic with the speakerphone mic without going into speakerphone mode?

By right, the speakerphone mic and the main mic should be the same. If you call people and they can't hear you, your device has an issue. If they can, its a problem with the OS.
