Pretty disappointing so far, just a few games and a multiplatform update to the Xbox companion. What do you think?

well... E3 is mostly about games, they must be saving up the big stuff for WP for the Build conference or June 20 (21?) demo

    Fixed that for ya!

WP is an entirely different show that starts on the 20th. There was plenty of Win 8, and to an lesser extent Wp8, news at Computex this week.

Windows Phone Developer Summit is June 20th: Microsoft announces Windows Phone Developer Summit: June 20-21 in San Francisco, CA | The Verge
    You're waiting for that.

Microsoft's keynote at E3 is about Xbox becoming more of a cultural thing, kind of like Apple. They want to expand their culture to be cross platform and be more of an identify, rather than just another sector. This is good for WP7/WP8 because it means more Xbox integration and more integration with Microsoft services in general.

MS said, many years ago, they wanted the xBox to become an entertainment center and not just a game console. That was part of the keynote Bill Gates gave when the original xBox launched.

Hey don't hate with limited coverage I am already planning on buying some of the new titles arriving to WP.

But heres the thing MS doesn't have a complete ecosystem until Windows Phone 8 is showcased so they cant really show off to much cross platform gaming.

So next year I assume they will focus all efforts on the new Xbox console and showcase how PC, tablet, phones, Xbox can all game together in one big happy family.
