I'm a South African so sometimes i have a question that only the local South Africans can answer, such as when an update or device rolls out in my country. Sometimes the local carriers/suppliers delay the release of a device so as to keep the success of an old one-at the same price as the new, they make more profit. (this is what's happening with the lumia 525) as a joint community we could put pressure on suppliers/carrier's to deliver. One email or social post means nothing but hundreds of emails and social posts on the carriers face book wall will make it happen.
Also the good old local carrier discussion, such as who has the fastest internet in a specific area, who has the best network coverage or who is offering the best and cheapest deals for a specific device.
Pinstack.com did this. (i know that they have almost no users except the 6 people with active accounts but with the numbers of WP central and mobile nations-this can work)
