So I've noticed this for a while but haven't mentioned it. If I view the news posts in the app then go about my day and later look at the live tile it will show a number of new posts. Though unless I regularly check it I will see the number higher than the actual number of new posts.
Anyone else notice this? I haven't been using my 1020 as my daily driver lately but keep it with me and when I check it I routinely have 10+ it higher news posts showing on the live tile yet there will only be 4-5 new posts.
Normally, I see this when: 1. I back out of the app when everything hasn't loaded yet. 2. I have a slow internet connection (which is true 80% of the time) 3. I'm offline.
I have too, and I usually have good connections. I think it's the wpcentral flip tile, as Jay said that would have some more issues. He said if you want it to be more reliable, use the iconic tile.
