Facebook quietly drops Skype from Facebook Messenger service

Facebook has launched its own video calling service for messenger and dropped Skype. Of course Android and IOS apps have been updated but not Windows phone and who knows when or if that will happen.
    Another nail in the coffin.

That might be bad for business....but as an end user, if I have Skype tightly coupled with my phone, why would I login to an extra app like FB to make a video call !!
