How do I delete Skype contacts from WP 10?

how to delete Skype contact from wp 10

Hi, i'm using windows 10 build 10536, yesterday I got a message from an unknown person, I try to open it but I couldn't today that person name appeared on my contacts I didn't add myself, when I try to delete it it doesn't have a Delete option just Pin to start or Edit, any ideas how can I get rid of it? Some Information the name is REESE HINSON Profile: Messaging Skype beta, it doesn't have a phone number, just Skype, thank you. Oscar

I've had the same problem. I just made my contact list filter out Skype contacts, but I wish I could delete them. When I look at my Skype contacts within Skype, that person doesn't show up.

Not sure if you're on mobile or PC but the current WP 8.1 app doesn't have the ability to delete contacts. You can delete contacts (by long pressing on the contact name and select delete) in the new universal Skype app available with the Anniversary update. If you haven't yet received the update, you'll need to use traditional desktop app to manage contacts.
