RFcomm Cancellation issue

There was a rumor or article suggesting some Microsoft developers read the forums at one point. Is this true? If so I have some low-level Background Task RFcomm triggers being cancelled with LoggingOff or IdleTask despite being active. Anyone suitably equipped to know why that might be?

Thanks

I thought Microsoft has said the background RFComm task can be canceled by the OS at anytime. I don't think it is related to the trigger that kicks off the background task.

It is all a little vague but when you watch the channel9 videos from Build 2014 they say that the background task should run forever for BT as it is lightweight.

Found out more yesterday. Looks to be older 8.1 phone firmware terminates the task and newer firmware lets it run. Reportedly GDR2 fixes even more BT issues but can't find that for my AT&T 830 or 635.
