I know that ubuntu will be available and Fedora, Suse coming later on windows store, but what do you think about install another complete OS as dual boot on surface laptop, since Linux kernel 4.8 they add support for touch technologies in surface 3 (that was on october 2016), and after a few custom ppa is posible to run Ubuntu 16.04 with touch, keyboard and even surface pen support on surface 4 (february 2017).

Well if Ubuntu supports all that then if you really want to do basic system operations using the terminal go ahead and do it if you're used to Linux environment as developer or any other kind of person that needs Linux. I personally however wouldn't change anything about OS (except maybe upgrade it to W10Pro) because it was designed to work with Windows 10 + I have bad experience with downloading correct drivers as I had Elementary on USB stick for a while.
