ATT Unlock Policy?

Hi Everyone - I have a Lumia 950 that I bought outright at an ATT store and then put right on my wife's GoPhone plan. I did this on 12/4/2015. I would like to move it off her plan and put it on mine, (not ATT). Here's the ATT policy...

Is there any way I can unlock this now since I paid full price for it?

If I need to just follow the GoPhone, 6 month restriction, does that mean I can unlock right on 5/4/2016 or do I need to wait a few days longer past then?

If it fails, follow up with a phone call. It's an ATT phone, paid off - even though it was used on GoPhone.
