😟 A bit worried...

I'm living in Laos at the moment but from California... When I got here six years ago Nokia was king... Everyone had one... First forward to March 2016...I've been a 920 (screen cracked) user but recently got two 640 mailed to me...I put one up for sale here and I couldn't find anyone that would buy it... Here in the store the Lumia 640 sells for $200 and
No one was interested in the second one for $70...even at the low end no one here wants a windows phone. The 640 is a great phone for it's price... Was going to save up for a 950 but.... I hate to say it but I think the party is over.

Well, when people are thrifty and they will only pay that much if they think it's a good deal.

With the store you get customer care, after sales care, warranty services and replacement options with second hand phones you get neither .

I here you on the store having better service... but I was selling a brand new phone for a third of the price in the store and I couldn't get any takers... Generally the people here in Laos don't have a lot of money.. The young people here don't want a windows phone even if I was too give it to them...

It's a bummer... Microsoft didn't handle it well with windows phones...
I wonder about any future where there is still windows phone... I don't think that way before... Just a week ago... It totally surprised me that I couldn't sell a new Lumia 640.

That's tough, I'd give you some pointers but I doubt they'd help lol.
