Just wondering if anyone else is starting to notice wear on their lens cap? My phone is in flawless condition, but is starting to wear on the bottom where the phone rests. I've searched all over that nice case that would make the cap recess or at least protect it, but I really don't want to cover it with one of those cheesy rubbery ones from Ebay.photo.jpg

If you don't mind having the extra step of getting it out of a cloth sunglass pouch, rest it on the soft pouch. I kinda predicted that would happen so I don't use it on the table. Even with camera grip, I find the weight ok for one hand operation.

You must mean the black bulge when you say lens cap or do you mean the clear eye cover directly over the lens?

When I say lens cap, I mean the black circle that rest on tabletops and so forth and no I'm not dragging it, I've had it since day one and this is the results of ownership. I just asked the question because there is so much talk about the phone but no follows up reviews as far as wear and tear. The body and screen are flawless. Its never been dropped.

there is also cases like this Nillkin Matte Textured Super Shield Hard Shell Case Cover for Nokia Lumia 1020 | eBay

Got a launch day 1020 here. No signs of wear on the bulge and I'm not expecting any. I always take care to set the phone down gently and on soft surfaces, and most of the time I carry it in pockets that are soft and loose. I'm also keeping it in the wireless charging cover, which seems like it could help a bit. It completely prevents the round edges of the bulge from being exposed.

mine's still perfect..

The other trick you can do is with the lanyard, you can fit then entire phone inside of the loop, then when you set the phone down, it will be resting on the lanyard and the camera back will have no connection with your table or other surface. Note that like you, I am using the AGF case as well and the phone WITH this case fits beautifully inside the lanyard loop.
