1020 still worth purchasing?

Like many others on the forums here, I was an early adopter of the 920 and my contract is up in the next week. My 920 unfortunately had issues a few months ago and I'm currently on a 635. It's definitely getting me by but the picture quality from the camera is killing me. I wanted to get the community's opinion on whether a 1020 is still a good choice today since we won't see a flagship this holiday season, and most likely won't see one till late spring/early summer next year (I'm assuming late summer since any announcement in spring may lead to a summer release). The 1520 is not an option because that's just too big of a device for daily use.

TL;DR - Would you still get a 1020 right now? $339 off contract isn't that bad of a price for what I know is an amazing phone.

Thanks for reading and any input you can provide!

I just bought mine. They are becoming scarce, I tried to order one through AT&T but they are not available to order anymore. It seems that they are down to remaining stocks, at least in AT&T.

There are a couple lengthy threads w/this same topic in the last month or so. I got mine for $339 a month ago from Amazon. Just got an unlock code from AT&T. No regrets.

I'm in the same boat as you... My contract is up with my 920. Screen is cracked (I'm dealing with it), battery life is HORRIBLE, having issues overall (that I may could fix with a hard reset), but I just want/need a new phone. First world problems I know... Waited until the 11th to see the 535. 1520 is way to big. 930 has LTE issues on ATT. Looking at getting a 1030 as well.

Does anyone know of issues/things to be aware of when switching? I've read mixed comments on Denim/future updates, Glance screen issues, etc. I know it doesn't have wireless charging out of the box, but I would buy the adapter and still come out cheaper. ~$450 for the 830 and ~$330 for the 1020.

Yes! You get LED, a stunning Glance-Screen, a ?ber Kamera and 2GB of RAM. :)

Hahaha! That's not the issues I was referring, you don't have to sell me! More or less looking for reasons not to buy one and/or things I may be losing.

You loose nothing, if you change from a 920 to a 1020. Just wireless charging is not build into the 1020.

Thanks for all the input everyone! I just got back from the AT&T store to check out the 830. Seems nice but for $100 less off contract, I'd prefer to have the 1020. I'm saving that upgrade for HOPEFULLY a flagship next year.

EDIT: oh and the good thing is whenever I want to use a beater phone, I can easily pop the sim card out and throw it into my 635 :D
