[FONT=arial, sans-serif]Just did some comparison between my Lumia 1020 and my friend's Nexus 5 and the result is exactly as seen in those other tests, Lumia is clearly the winner. In bright light Nokia can utilize all its ~40 million pixels and thus leading much sharper photos with room for even some cropping (digital zoom, if you want).
In low light (here night) a big number of megapixels doesn't count anymore, since individual pixels are more noisy and averaging is required. However, Nokia can still produce much more details at low light as seen here.

After digitally enhancing the brightness a little bit reveals the noise in Nexus while Lumia preserves the quality and details:
